There are new photos of Scarlett at the Hollywood Christmas Parade at wireimage.com. There are photos of her from the Green Room (which are mostly headshots and of her with WB star Sara Paxton) and then one from the Red Carpet, which is of her, Mike Holleman (Jake on "REBA"), Keiko Agena (Lane on "Gilmore Girls") and two other male actors. These photos were taken on November 29 at Hollywood's annual Christmas Parade in Hollywood
Also, I just found some new photos of Scarlett from the LA Emmy Awards and a couple of premieres. They are all events we seen pictures for, but the pics themselves are new. The website is celebityphoto.com. Just search "Scarlett Pomers" in "caption" like the other photo websites. These are some nice up close pics of Scarlett, unlike the far away ones we're used to...
No word yet on the TV Guide article. Hopefully that will be out in the next issue. If anyone finds any article of Scarlett, please scan them and email it to one of the webmasters. We'll give full credit to you! Photos are nice too....

Scarlett was recently interviewed by TV Guide. Stay tuned for details about when her article may appear. Also, Scarlett reports on her website that her Popstars interview will likely appear in February. Also don't forget to look for her article in the Hollywood Reporter on sale November 19!

Scarlett will be riding in the Hollywood Christmas parade on Sunday evening, November 30th. Southern California locals can check out the parade on KCAL9 that evening. Scarlett will also be appearing in the upcoming WB Outtakes 2, so stay tuned for more details on that as well!

The Official Scarlett Pomers website has posted the first clip from Scarlett's demo tape. The song is called "Insane" and everyone here at Sparklet just *loves* it. There are also photos from the E! visit to the Reba set last week, and a behind the scenes photo of Scarlett playing her guitar back stage. Go to the Reba Season 3 gallery in the Photos section.
Also, the Appearances section has been updated with a news that Scarlett's appearance at Colin Powell's America's Promise Event has been changed to November. No word on what day that will be, but we will post as soon as we know.

The cast of REBA was interviewed by a crew from the CBS show 48 hours on Tuesday, September 16. The interview was likely done as part of a piece on Reba McEntire, which is reportedly set to air in November. Check back later for the details and an airdate.
Also remember that the third season of REBA has begun! Tune into the WB every Friday night at 8PM (7 PM Central) for all-new episodes with Scarlett in the role of Kyra Hart!

It's the beginning of Emmy season in LA and Scarlett will be presenting an award at the LA Emmy awards on September 6, which will air in LA on September 13. These are technical awards for television shows, which air separately from the Emmy Awards that air nation-wide celebrating achievement in television acting and direction.
There was a blurb about one of Scarlett's summer performances in Coastal View News. You can read the article online by clicking here. The article will also be added to the Articles section, which you can read by clicking "Scarlett".
The Official Scarlett Pomers Homepage has added some new items to their website. The first is a new journal entry from Scarlett, where she talks about her photo shoot for Popstars, her performance at the Boys & Girls Club, and her music career. Scarlett tells us that she's been writing lots of new material.
Speaking of music career, Scarlett was on New Music Weekly's Labor Day Broadcast this weekend and she delivered a wonderful surprise for her fans: an exclusive listen to one of her songs. Sparklet is working on getting it online, and as soon as it becomes available we will post it. Until then, you can check it out at Scarlett's unofficial Yahoo! fan club, The Scarlett Pomers Club. In the interview, Scarlett mentions that she is working hard on her demo with the producers in Nashville and hopes to have her demo completed by the end of the year. The Official site posted that they will have one of her songs, "Insane", online soon. They have also posted that there will be another Scarlett Pomers Giveway contest with the prize being an autographed poster.

We've added a new section to our site featuring audio files of the Adventures in Odyssey episodes that Scarlett has appeared in. Scarlett provided the voice for the recurring role of Sarah Prachett in the Christian radio series Adventures in Odyssey from the years 1997-2002.

the latest news from Scarlett herself!
Work on the third season of REBA will begin Wednesday, August 6. The full-hour season three
premeiere of REBA will air on September 12 in its new time slot at 8 PM.
Scarlett has upcoming interviews with Bop and Popstars magazines. Stay tuned for the dates
that they will appear in stores!
Scarlett has also done a radio interview for the New Music Weekly Labor Day special,
which will air duing Labor Day weekend on over 500 radio stations.

We now have a new link text to create a new look, along with

music career, and more! We hope these new sections will help keep you better updated
on Scarlett and her projects.

made some huge updates, and here's a summary.
The Appearance section has a boat-load of places Scarlett will be over the summer, making her a very, very busy young actress.
On television, you can see the season premiere of Reba on Friday, September 12 at 8pm.
New sections will also be added to Sparklet to reflect these updates in Scarlett's life. Stay tuned to Sparklet for all your Scarlett news!

June 15, 2003 Three quick things. First, Scarlett's fan mail adddress
has moved again. The new one is:
So if you want to write Scarlett a letter, you're going to want to write to this address.
Scarlett is usually really good at writing back to her fans (she loves us! she really loves us!)
but sometimes her schedule gets so hectic, it's hard for her to write back quickly, but she almost always does eventually.
Summer might be the best time to write, since she's on hiatus from Reba.
The second thing is there is an article about a high school collecting blood for the Red Cross
that mentions Scarlett. This May 22, 2003 article talks about how the Lakewood High School in Long Beach, CA
tried to beat the record for the most pints collected at one school. Scarlett was on hand as one of the
celebrities supporting the cause.

The third thing is that while Reba has been renewed for a third season (yay!), they are moving times.
The show will now air at 8pm EST starting Friday, June 20.

The first will be at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on Monday May 5th and the second at
the House of Blues in Downtown Disney on Sunday May 18th.
Scarlett will appear in in the Hairstyles and Trends section of Ignite magazine on
sale June 10th.
Scarlett's episode of Hollywood Squares will air on April 30th. Mark your calendars

March 26, 2003 It's official! Reba.com reports that the WB has now officially announced
that REBA has been renewed for a third season. The show is currently scheduled to remain in its Friday night time
slot for the season beginning in fall 2003. And don't forget, you can still catch all-new episodes of REBA's second season airing on Friday nights at 9 PM/8PM Central on the WB.

Best Actress in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama): Lead Young Actress. This is her 7th Young Artist Award
nomination, but her first in a lead role. The award ceremony takes place on March 29, 2003 and we'll
be sure to let you know the results! Mitch Holleman [Jake], Scarlett's co-star on the show was also nominated
for his role, as Best Supporting Young Actor.

Scarlett will be travelling to Nashville, TN to write and record new music.
This new music will be posted on the Official

an interview with WSMV on Feb. 3rd and she'll be doing a radio tour for CMT on Jan. 30.

Welcome to the premiere of Sparklet! This our first update, so everything is
brand-spanking new. We've got articles, pictures, videos, audio clips, and, of course,
the latest news.
Scarlett is appearing in a PSA for non-smoking. She was filmed during
one of her recording session for a PSA called called "Right Decision, Right Now".
Her grandfather died of lung cancer when Scarlett was six, so this is very important to her.
Scarlett's single "Flyin'" will be featured in the PSA.
Keep a look out for Scarlett in two upcoming magazine, "Twist" and "Teen Beat".
Scarlett will be featured in "Twists" Get Goregous section, and in "Teen Beat"'s Back to School issue.
- Also on June 21, she will be at the Key Club at the Hollywood Nights wrap party.
- Scarlett will be at the opening of Mexico's top hairstylist, Sylvia Galvan's first US hair salon in Beverly Hills.
- Celebrating the Television Critics Association annual WB party on July 13th in Hollywood.
- Scarlett will be attending Fox's Teen Choice Awards at the Universal Amphitheater on August 2.

-Scarlett says Kyra is growing very rebellious and will be doing something big at the end of the season.
- Rebecca adds that Scarlett's character will have a very important storyline.
- Scarletts tells us that the public will find out about whether there is a 3rd season of Reba in May.
- Scarlett is still working on her demo and is looking for label deals. She is writing her own songs which she says is very fun.
- Rebecca says that there is some label interest in her music but it will be awhile before
anything comes out. Scarlett wrote several songs during her stay in Nashville.
- The type of music Scarlett is playing is part pop, part rock. She plays the guitar and the drums in
some of her songs. Rebecca says a photo of Scarlett with her guitar might be put up on the official site soon.
- Scarlett doesn't know if she will be going to any conventions any time soon, but says she thinks Grand Slam is cool.
- She still keeps in touch with the cast of Voyager, especially Ethan Phillips, and enjoys seeing them at conventions.
- Scarlett has not seen the last episode of Voyager because she was filming Ring of Endless Light in Australia.
- Scarlett has seen Enterprise and likes all Star Trek, but says Voyager is still her favorite. "Janeway is the coolest captain!" - she says.
- Scarlett says she would like to make a movie.
- Scarlett adores animals. She says, "Someday I want a farm with horses and dogs and cows. I want a cow." She thinks cows are cute.
- Her favorite anime are Sailor Moon, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star. "Anything with giant robots," she adds.
- Rebecca informs us that Scarlett *was* indeed nominated for her role on Reba, although the Young Artist Award website has yet to add her to the list. They
should be making the changes soon. Rebecca was not sure if it was for Best or Supporting Actress, since Scarlett's screen time has increased this year.
- There is a blurb of Scarlett in the March issue of Boy Crazy magazine (this will be posted at Sparklet as soon as we can find it!)
- The website is going to be developing a music section for Scarlett, with information, pics and clips of Scarletts music.
- The Listen magazine will be scanned and posted at the official website.
